Our animal hospital has an opportunity for a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian who wants to practice high-quality medicine while having fun doing what we all love in the beautiful Tampa, FL area.

This position offers full-time benefits for part-time hours, up to $30,000 signing bonus, work/life balance, no upfront non-compete, and more!

Our staff works well together, and we enjoy each other’s company while at work. Veterinary medicine can be stressful, and we take our jobs seriously, but we try to have fun every day. A sense of humor and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

About the Hospital 

Our modern facility offers more than just preventative care. We perform wellness care, dental care, diagnostics, surgical services, end-of-life care, urgent care, and more! We have a state-of-the-art in-house laboratory and a fully stocked, in-house pharmacy.

Responsibilities:

• Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
• Treat and dress wounds
• Perform surgery on animals
• Test for and vaccinate against diseases
• Operate medical equipment, such as X-ray machines
• Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
• Prescribe medication
• Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high-quality care
