A well-established veterinary practice in Suffolk County, New York, is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director who is passionate about practicing advanced medicine while leading a cohesive, experienced team.

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated veterinarian to continue providing exceptional care while also guiding the medical quality and direction of the hospital, much like an owner would—but without the risks of ownership. The practice has been a trusted part of the community for decades, with three tenured doctors who have each been with the hospital for more than 20 years. Team culture is at the heart of everything, and laughter and camaraderie are just as important as top-notch medicine.

The hospital is fully staffed with three Licensed Veterinary Technicians, a dedicated client service team, and skilled veterinary assistants, all working together to provide seamless care. An exciting new chapter is also on the horizon, as the practice prepares to move into a brand-new facility in early 2026.

Compensation for this position includes a competitive base salary ranging from $190,000 to $220,000, depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinary leader looking to grow with a supportive team and shape the future of a respected practice in Suffolk County.
