Poultry Staff Veterinarian – Barron County, WI – #8046
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Poultry Staff Veterinarian to join us in the Barron County, Wisconsin area.
You will work with an entire team of skilled veterinarians and nutritionists to support the company and provide technical support in the field as a member of the management team responsible for live turkey production.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining preventative medicine and general turkey health management programs, planning & executing detailed projects focusing on improving health & performance and providing key support to basic processing to maximize the yield of wholesome turkey meat.

Requirements

- Successful candidates must have a DVM degree from an AVMA-accredited institution and have or be eligible for veterinary licensure.
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
- Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa
Preferred
- Previous experience in poultry production
Travel
- 15% overnight travel to include continuing education and team manager meetings, and 75% daily travel to farms. You will be provided with a company vehicle.
