Associate Veterinarian – Dublin/Oakland, CA – #8627

We are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our community-focused veterinary clinics.

In this role, you’ll play an essential part in supporting the community, particularly clients and animals who may have limited options for veterinary care. Our hospitals are deeply committed to making care accessible, offering financial assistance programs, and partnering with outside funding groups to help ease the financial burden for pet owners.

As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide medical, surgical, and preventative care for both client-owned pets and shelter animals across two locations. Most of your time (between 90% and 100%) will be spent at our AAHA-accredited, full-service Oakland clinic, where you’ll see appointments and perform surgeries as well as a variety of other procedures including amputations, mastectomies, enucleations, entropion and cherry eye repairs, pyometra surgery, nares and soft palate resections, mass removals, FHO, gastropexy, enterotomy, and more. The remainder of your time (up to 10% based on organizational needs) could be spent between shelter animal care in Dublin and Oakland at the high quality/high volume spay/neuter clinics. 

You’ll work closely with a collaborative, multi-doctor team including the VP of Medical Services, fellow veterinarians, and an experienced medical support staff — all dedicated to advancing our mission.

Compensation ranges from $140K to $180K, based on experience, with the potential to earn up to $20K in annual bonuses.
