Regional Director of Operations – Midwest USA – Remote with Travel #5344

Regional Director of Operations is needed for a growing community of veterinary hospitals dedicated to helping every member thrive.

The Regional Director of Operations (RDO will provide operation leadership to assigned hospitals, typically 15-20 locations. The RDO balances the need to support each hospital’s unique culture while fostering an environment of continuous improvement and while providing a high standard of care to patients. The RDO will be responsible to recruit, manage, and develop the skills of the Practice Managers within their assigned region. Responsibilities include Tactical Management, Financial Management, Client Services, Marketing and Business Development, and Human Resources.

The ideal candidate has veterinary management experience and will be located in Illinois, Indiana, or Ohio. This is a remote role with travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Veterinary, or in a related field
• 5-10 years of Veterinary Practice/Management experience or similar field (healthcare) within a multi-site model
• Knowledge of Veterinary Practice Information System (Cornerstone, Idexx, etc.) is a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly, manage change and possess organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time
• (We are not looking for a veterinarian for this role).
