Development / Formulation Scientist – Animal Health

Development / Formulation Scientist – Growing, collaborative animal health company is looking for a Development Scientist to lead product development/formulation projects all the way to product registration or other suitable client-driven product-cycle end points and to lead projects on behalf of internal and external clients.  The Development Scientist will report to the Head of Pharmaceutical Science and will also:

• Generate, document, and review technical data for internal reports, client reports and CMC regulatory support documents.
• Create and maintain activity plans for assigned projects
• Communicate and negotiate project activities and timelines
• Negotiate with other departments for access to various resources including equipment and assistance
• Maintain a high state of GDP and HSE compliance at the facility, ensuring that equipment is calibrated/qualified and ready for use for internal and external projects

Qualifications include:

• B. S. or higher degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biological Sciences,)
• Previous experience in animal health industry or related field preferred
• analytical skills and attention to detail; high degree of accuracy with complex documentation
