Associate Veterinarian – San Antonio, TX 

 We have an opportunity for an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join a staff devoted to providing pets with high-quality care. Our client is a small animal practice in a newly developed area of San Antonio, Texas. This is your chance to contribute to a small business that prides themselves on the best customer service and retaining a loyal client base. The urban facility is equipped to offer digital x-ray, diagnostic lab work, spays & neuters, routine surgery, and cares for exotic pets as well as companion animals.  

 The ideal candidate is experienced in surgery including routine spay and neuters, dental extractions, and mass removals. Experience in emergency surgery is a plus. The typical schedule involves 3-4 days a week of 11-12-hour shifts. In a day, the doctor may see 3 to 4 patients in surgery.  

 Qualifications: Skilled in surgery, excellent people skills, experience with exotics, proficiency in general small animal practice, bilingual in Spanish is a plus
