We are searching for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for one of the largest and most respected veterinary hospitals in the country. The CEO will be a leader who will balance strategic growth with day-to-day operational excellence and will champion the mission to deliver the highest standard of veterinary medicine.

The CEO will develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan that will advance the hospital’s mission, enhance its reputation, and drive sustainable revenue and profitability. The CEO will identify market trends, challenges, opportunities and will adjust strategies to ensure long-term success.

The CEO will oversee operational excellence and will ensure all hospital operations ensure efficiency, quality, client satisfaction and cost-effective management of resources. The CEO will approve and enforce operational policies, procedures and standards that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. The CEO will ensure consistent pricing methodology, forecasting and business planning processes across all service areas.

The CEO will oversee financial management and growth. The CEO will review financial reports, operational data, and performance metrics to assess progress toward objectives. The CEO will implement strategies for revenue generation, service expansion and cost management. The CEO will establish clear performance measures for business operations and ensure accountability at all levels.

The CEO will oversee team leadership and development, community and industry engagement, fundraising and development, governance, and reporting.

Qualifications include a DVM or MBA, minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience, ideally in veterinary medicine, healthcare, or a related service industry. The CEO will be an exceptional leader with strong interpersonal skills, strong business acumen with the ability to balance business objectives with clinical priorities and will be committed to the highest standards of patient care, client service and professional ethics.
