VP of Sales – Remote with Travel – #7160
We are seeking to fill a Vice President of Sales role. If you are a sales leader with a proven track record, strong leadership skills, and are determined to improve performance and develop a sales organization, we want to hear from you.
We need a hands-on working leader who has been successful in a similar environment. This is a sales role, and we are looking for a candidate who has dynamic sales experience in the animal health industry. If you know how to drive revenue, identify gaps in the process, and take creative measures to correct the gaps, we would love to speak with you.
Responsibilities include:
- Devise and deploy sales goals and objectives across the organization, including the preparation of sales forecasts, quotas, commission and incentive plans, and budgets.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop short- and long-term strategic plans, including the preparation of annual business plans.
- Identify opportunities to create new revenue streams and business opportunities.
- Integrate and align sales strategies to increase sales force capability and success.
- Manage and report on sales effectiveness and efficiency performance.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on competitor activities.
- Evaluate the success of sales communication strategies and provide and implement recommendations for improvement.
- Negotiate customer agreements and incentive programs that foster strategic business growth with key accounts while maintaining company profitability.
- Direct, mentor, and develop the sales organization to achieve optimum performance.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Veterinary Affairs teams to ensure the creation and support of a best-in-class customer experience framework.
There will be significant travel in this position. However, you will be reimbursed for all travel expenses.
