Vice President of Marketing

Vice President of Marketing. We are looking for a Vice President of Marketing. As a member of the executive leadership team, the Vice President of Marketing will work with the CCO, CEO, CFO, CVO and EVP and others to support the company’s efforts to achieve revenue and operational goals. This role is responsible for North American Marketing direction and strategy for the company, with emphasis on customer facing responsibilities, but including contributions to business development, strategic partnerships, education and training by providing marketing leadership, expertise, direction and execution of the commercial marketing strategy. The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for developing and leading a marketing team for the US market.

This position proactively identifies tends in the veterinary companion animal health industry and contributes to discussions on business impact and strategic direction. This role provides marketing leadership to both internal and external customers in order to align strategic direction and business objectives.

The Vice President of Marketing will achieve measureable results across a large number of projects within budget and on tight timelines.

Qualifications:

Proven ability to achieve measurable results across a large number of projects within budget and on tight timelines
Superior knowledge of all areas of marketing and marketing communications including business plan development
Proven ability to take product/service (as well as new market development) from concept to implementation
Proven track record in leading the creation and execution of marketing initiatives
Results oriented
Sense of urgency in solving problems and comfortable with a fast-paced, demanding environment
Sound data analysis and decision-making capabilities
Strong presentation skills
Strong writing and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate proficiency in time and project management
Ability to effectively communicate with and sell to C-level executives
Successful track record as a senior marketing executive
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Finance
Master’s Degrees in Marketing, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Several years of experience in the marketing sector
Demonstrate a successful marketing record
Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the company’s products and services
Possesses knowledge of competitive products and markets
Exhibits strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Demonstrates ability to think creatively
Exhibits awareness of best sales practices and methods
Works well with a team
Demonstrates patience
Exhibits familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
Communications clearly and effectively
Possesses strong persuasive abilities
