Veterinary Radiologist – Virtual

Veterinary Radiologist-(Virtual) We are recruiting for a Veterinary Radiologist. The Radiologist will work in telemedicine, evaluating X-Rays, Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Computed Tomography. This role performs diagnostic evaluations in the area of Veterinary Radiology in the pursuit of preventing, diagnosing and treating disease.

The Radiologist will dictate medical evaluations and will collaborate with colleagues and consult with clients and other veterinary professionals through Skype, phone and email. The Radiologist will interact with imaging and other lab personnel and be involved in regular clinic rounds. The Radiologist will participate in CE and stay current on new theories, diagnostic approaches and available treatments. The Radiologist will participate in a Quality Control program, and will assist in other responsibilities relevant to Veterinary Radiology and other lab services.

Qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent, Diplomat of America College of Veterinary Radiology or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, have expertise in interpreting radiographs, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and nuclear medicine, must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine and be fluent in English. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and have a strong commitment to practicing the highest standards of medical quality while upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
