Veterinary Account Manager – remote – Vet Tech preferred

A fast-paced young startup company that offers a holistic platform; connecting veterinarians, clinics, shelters and other pet professionals with pet parents via an all-in-one platform with a mobile application is looking to add a Veterinary Account Manger due to strong growth.  The company’s product is designed to improve the quality of life for the pet.  The Veterinary Account Manager cultivates and maintains long-term relationships with existing and newly acquired customers. This is a remote/work from home opportunity with a large travel commitment (60-70%) and requires travel to customer locations for product setup and training as well as relationship management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
● Grow the company’s veterinary customer relationships.
● Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with existing and newly acquired customers.
● Management and resolution of customer conflicts/issues.
● Constant updates and communication with clients.
● Be a trusted adviser to each customer; a liaison to both the customer and internal teams who support the product.
● Frequent customer communication both in-person and other.
● This is a remote/work from home opportunity with a large travel commitment. The role requires travel to customer locations for product setup and training as well as relationship management.
● Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

Requirements:
● 60 –70% travel
● Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
● Self-motivated. This is a remote-work opportunity. Applicant must be able to work in a non-traditional office environment both at home and on the road.
● Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
● Think on your feet – the applicant should be able to think outside the box under pressure based on anticipation of/response to customer specific needs.
● Salesforce.com experience
● Past veterinary practice experience as a practice manager, customer service manager or veterinary nurse.
● Experience with veterinary practice software a plus
● Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in business, marketing, economics or a related field.
