Our leading specialty practice serving North Texas and the Dallas metroplex area is seeking non-boarded Veterinarians to join our team as full-time Hospitalists.

We are a high-volume specialty referral practice offering Small Animal Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Medical and Radiation Oncology, and Critical Care cases for direct referrals.

Our team of Hospitalists allows for 24/7 doctor care for inpatients. We currently have three hospitalists who supervise the implementation of treatment plans created by the veterinary specialist, and medically manage changes in patient status during non-admitting hours. Additionally, we have plans to further maximize our Hospitalists by implementing after-hours admittance only for current patients with acute illness.

We believe the ideal candidates for this position are those with an interest in critical care case management and those who wish to participate in the evolution of a rapidly growing hospital and future ER service.

We know that when a team is on the floor working, they are the ones can can tell us how to better equip our hospital. We are excited to hear the innovative ideas a Hospitalist might have when it comes to expanding and making our hospital better. This is a unique opportunity for an emergency veterinarian or primary care veterinarian to bypass the more stressful aspects of client-centric veterinary medicine while working alongside specialists to grow their skills in intensive case management.

• 36-hour work weeks
• 12-hour shifts 3 days a week (that is 4 days off a week!)
