We are seeking a Director of Veterinary Medicine to join us in Sioux Falls, South Dakota! This is a unique position in which the Director will work closely with the Executive Committee to define strategies and planning to accomplish the organization’s mission.

This is a start-up endeavor with an aspirational culture that is collaborative and service- oriented, striving for a clean, caring environment based on respect for all.

This is an opportunity for someone to put their stamp on the organization by helping to design the clinic itself and influence the strategies deployed to achieve our mission. It is an opportunity to help achieve a no-kill community and help more animals find and stay with their families by providing care and training to people who might not be able to otherwise afford it.

The incoming candidate will be responsible for running the clinic and developing the culture at the clinic in alignment with the overall mission of the foundation. This will be a new clinic designed to provide low-cost veterinary care for our shelter and low-income members of the community. However, we will serve all members of the community with priority to those who have trouble paying for veterinary care services.

This person will be responsible for managing veterinary services which may include other veterinarians, vet technicians, assistants, and admins. This person will help determine budgets and plan for the number of people needed to fulfill our mission.
