Veterinarian – Hillsdale County, Michigan

We are looking for a veterinarian for an affordable and caring, longstanding and People’s Choice Winner. The practice works by appointments but has a philosophy of “bring it in” if someone is concerned about their pet. The practice is affordable so people don’t have to euthanize their pets for economic reasons. The philosophy is hire great people, give them the job parameters and let them do their jobs.

This is a full time position and the practice is open Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00 with 9:00-Noon Saturday hours.

Our preferred veterinarian is calm, nonjudgmental, an interest in learning and trying new things and having respect for others.  We seek someone who is creative, practices empathy and is open to discussing cases. Small town orientation is helpful, as is farm background although the practice doesn’t see farm animals.

Our ideal candidate can handle GP duties and do surgery efficiently.  It would be a bonus if someone was interested in doing orthopedic surgery and they can train on that. We are hoping for someone who has an interest in buying into the practice down the road.

This position is open due to expansion.
