Technical Services Manager (Veterinarian) – Swine, Poultry – Canada

Technical Services Manager (Veterinarian) – Canada (swine and poultry) The Technical Services Veterinarian Canada will support the sales throughout Canada and potentially in the US and Latin America. The Technical Services Veterinarian will represent the company with high technical and social competence to all stakeholders in the region. The Technical Services Veterinarian will provide technical and marketing support as well as provide development and maintenance of business relations with key opinion leaders and veterinarians, practitioners, stakeholders. The Technical Services Veterinarian will interface between the region and headquarters marketing group and maintain close collaboration with the headquarters marketing group. The Technical Services Veterinarian will provide technical consulting of clients, while maintaining business relations and networking and will represent the company at conferences, technical meetings and events. The Technical Services Veterinarian will support development of technical and product marketing materials and support clients in their understanding of the use of the products. The Technical Services Veterinarian will recommend optimal use of products based on farm production type, stage and age of animals and disease challenges in the herds/flocks. The Technical Services Veterinarian will support the key account manager to promote business development and will track, document and prepare adverse reaction reports. The Technical Services Veterinarian will respond to client technical inquiries and troubleshoot issues, will develop and build technical services and business relationships, will review diagnostic reports to make client recommendations for product selection and use and provide regulatory support.

Qualifications include a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, 2-5 years of experience in the Animal Health Industry or other relevant experience. We will also consider a PhD with relevant experience. The successful candidate will have a highly developed network of relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (stakeholders, veterinarians, industry, governmental authorities, universities and researchers) and have effective communication skills in English and French. The successful candidate will have the ability to investigate and support technical questions from veterinarian and be able to investigate, support and facilitate the resolve of technical issues and reported product adverse reactions. The successful candidate will have effective organizational and time management skills, strong problem solving and decision making skills, have an entrepreneurial spirit, excellent presentation skills, excellent commuter skills and willingness to travel up to 40%.
