Senior Territory Sales Manager – Los Angeles, California – #6169

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Territory Sales Manager to work for a company that sells to veterinarians in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional services to clients and their pets. The organization is building for massive growth and wants to hire someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and forward-thinking attitude to help build and expand.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs analysis through in-person, phone virtual meetings with veterinary practices, present the company’s compounding capabilities, and nurture existing relationships.
  • Establish and meet sales goals through business planning and territory management.
  • Help create effective sales & marketing materials
  • Provide input to the rest of the team on veterinarian product needs
  • Collaborate internally with other departments and leadership to provide input on veterinarian product needs.
  • Identify key buyers and influencers within accounts and cultivate relationships.
  • Foster and maintain close relationships with outside sales force to facilitate seamless sales processes
  • Assist in onboarding new customers through phone calls and web-based demonstrations
  • Discuss and address competitive activity – bringing concerns to the attention of the leadership and marketing team.

Qualifications: 

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a relevant Sales/Marketing role.
  • Experience in the veterinary industry
  • Experienced sales rep with great communication skills
  • Have a working understanding of Microsoft Excel and other common business applications
  • Have a passionate, persevering, and adaptable environment
  • Can ask the right questions to get to the root of someone’s needs.
  • Fantastic at crafting emails, and you are not afraid of cold calling
  • Comfortable making 20 or more calls per day
  • Persistent in driving meaningful conservations with prospective customers, and you always follow up and follow through.
  • Customer-focused, with a positive, professional attitude
  • Great organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Highly coachable and flexible and enjoy receiving and acting on constructive feedback.
