Regional Support Veterinarian – Cincinnati Metro/Northern Kentucky – #7359

We are seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our team as a Regional Support Veterinarian! This is a full-time salaried position, and you will provide consistent coverage for our hospitals in the northern Kentucky/Cincinnati metro. Your role is key in supporting multiple hospitals across the region, and we want to set you up for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Be able to adapt to a multitude of different environments and work with a wide variety of teams.
• Have a strong level of empathy and modify your approach and treatment plan according to the unique needs of each hospital’s team and their clients.
• A desire to help others.
• A strong sense of resiliency/adaptability.
• Prior leadership and/or mentorship experience is preferred.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
• Hold or obtain a veterinary license in the states in which our practices are located (you will cross state borders for this position).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to delegate responsibility when appropriate.
• The ability to work with people of various personality types.
• Strong time management skills.
• The ability to represent our hospitals in the community positively.

Our biggest hospital has traditional after-hours and 24-hour weekend emergency hours with flexible rotating shifts. There are multiple shifts available!

You will have access to on-call consultations with board-certified specialists in internal medicine, dermatology, and surgery. Laboratory, digital radiography, endoscopy, ultrasound, and CTs are available on-site. You will work with a dedicated, caring staff in a small family atmosphere.
