Our Animal Hospital is looking for a compassionate part-time veterinarian to help grow our thriving practice in Columbia, Missouri!
As a part-time DVM, you will maintain schedule flexibility working 20 or more hours per week. Ideally, this candidate will have surgical skills and a desire to make a difference in a community whose mission is to consistently provide authentic care by compassionately serving as a unified team in harmony with our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
- Treat and dress wounds
- Perform surgery on animals
- Test for and vaccinate against diseases
- Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
- Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
- Prescribe medication
- Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high-quality care

About the Hospital
We see small animals, pocket pets, reptiles, avians, and more! Beyond wellness care for these animals, we also offer dental care, boarding, regenerative medicine, boarding, surgical services, diagnostics, end-of-life care, urgent care, and more. We maintain a fully-stocked pharmacy and have an on-site pharmacy as well for our client’s convenience.
