National Account Manager

National Account Manager-(Southeast USA) We have a position open for a National Account Manager. This role will oversee the Animal Health business in the US and Canada. This position will build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts. This role will be cross matrixed with the services delivery team and will work closely with sales operations, finance and customer service to ensure customers receive value from the solutions offered by the company.

The National Account Manager will achieve bookings and revenue targets and will identify key decision makers and provide solutions that solve business needs that are client specific. The National Account Manager will act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring client’s requirements are met. The incumbent will negotiate all client agreements, collect and analyze sales data and trends, maintain high customer satisfaction ratings according to company standards, liaise with sales and marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products and stay up-to-date with internal and external developments in the agriculture industry.

The National Account Manager will build and deliver presentations that are compelling and drive results, will develop and maintain the account plan, will keep up to date with required information to keep the team informed of moving parts with the client. The incumbent will have the experience to influence at a high level. This includes bridging the gap between the customer’s operational teams and the executives who drive the strategy. The incumbent will have the keen ability to learn quickly, grasp new concepts and be agile enough to adapt to a changing marketplace. The incumbent will analyze data and provide recommendations for course of action to drive revenue and bookings. The incumbent will have a keen sense of planning and will be able to create a pipeline and will understand how to build out a sales genome for each customer and identify those opportunities, pursue those opportunities and close.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of experience selling technology solutions to large multi-national clients, 5+ years of experience within the Animal Health Industry, a complete understanding of sales process, pipeline and opportunity management as well as quota attainment and the retirement of that quota. Operational knowledge of MS office required and agriculture experience a plus. In depth knowledge of sales performance metrics and demonstrable experience in negotiating large multi-year deals is required along with ability to lead and motivate team members. Excellent analytical and organizational skills are required.
