Marketing Manager – Midwest
The Marketing Manager will develop and manage promotional programs including seasonal offers to drive sales and achieve business targets both for own label and private label products in North America. The incumbent will develop and execute annual marketing budgets, plan and coordinate conferences and major industry events. In addition the incumbent will lead brand strategic planning meetings, analyze and interpret Industry data of sales by sku and customer and handle sales forecasting and work with the production planning group. The incumbent will create and implement the marketing strategy for new product launches in both ethical and OTC markets, including product management through the manufacturing process, marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, seminars, events and collateral materials. The incumbent will manage the preparation of marketing materials, assist in the completion of new product evaluation forms for R&D plan and design annual business plans, promotional activities, loyalty programs, rebates programs and free of charge goods.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in science, business or marketing with a minimum of 5 years of experience in animal health. Strong organization and communication skills are essential along with computer skills. The successful candidate will be able to analyze information, maintain product knowledge, manage deadlines and be able to multi-task. A 20% travel requirement is required. The successful candidate will have a background in both the ethical and OTC livestock and animal health market.
