Marketing Manager
We are looking for an experienced marketer to lead the marketing efforts for our clients service business. The Senior Marketing Manager will develop unique and differentiated service solutions, effective go to market approaches and lead the marketing efforts to deliver significant growth of services while delivering increased value across the portfolio. The incumbent will work directly with stakeholders across multiple customer segments (producers, veterinarians, dairy farms and industry bodies) in order to understand the changing environment and future needs in order to deliver value with new and existing services. The incumbent will lead the development of the rolling three year marketing plans for services, and contribute to the overall three year plan for the business. The incumbent will provide financial projections and maintain an ongoing P&L for assigned services and technologies. The incumbent will responsibly invest resources and monitor investment performance, including promotional budget and service and provide resources to generate a profitable return. The incumbent will manage external partners (advertising agencies and service providers) that support the immediate and long term growth of the service business. The incumbent will develop and implement market research to ensure that the customer’s voice is built into plans. The incumbent will lead the development of a lifecycle management plan for services to generate ongoing revenue streams from customers. The incumbent will identify future technology and service opportunities and sources of recurring revenue to increase revenue and profitability. The incumbent will handle operations research for service outcomes sales aide development and testimonials, pricing and promotions for services, digital and web initiative development and execution and forecasting for annual and quarterly accounting period revenues.
Qualifications include a BS or BA. MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred. 5-7 years of related marketing and sales experience is required along with experience in developing and implementing marketing plans and campaigns. The successful candidate will have experience working with cross-functional teams in developing and executing brand strategies, programs and tactics to leverage market share and revenue targets. We are looking for a demonstrated ability to be a team player and organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced changing environment. The successful candidate will have the proven ability to think strategically, have proven analytical skills to assess market conditions and project immediate and long-term growth of assigned brands. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to bring innovative solutions to market, a proven record of taking initiative and accepting challenges, strong written and verbal communication skills, strength in team and relationship-building skills with both internal and external customers, proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Windows; Word, PowerPoint and Excel), and demonstrated interest to grow professionally.
