Marketing Director (Remote/Virtual role)

We are seeking a Marketing Director to join a dynamic team and work in the rapidly expanding animal health technology product market. We are looking for a leader who will be responsible for outbound marketing activities for an inline non-prescription product portfolio as well as a prescription product with an anticipated approval date later this year. We are seeking a creative and quantitative thinker to continue development of the product portfolio and prepare for a successful product launch. Your objectives will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote the products.

The Marketing Director devises, implements, and oversees the marketing strategy for assigned lines of product to achieve defined goals. Internally, the Marketing Director will maintain significant contact with finance, regulatory, clinical, and trade departments. Externally, the Marketing Director builds and maintains relationships with distributors, strategic accounts, agencies, press, and key customers. This is an individual contributor role and will not have a team reporting to the Marketing Director.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, or similar role
• Experience in market analysis
• Familiar with product marketing strategy and tactical development
• BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications, or similar field
• Working knowledge of web analytics tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
• Experience in the US animal health industry or related industry (Livestock and Companion Animals)
• Track record of success in business to business negotiations
• Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team
