International Territory Manager – Mid Atlantic

International Territory Manager-(Kentucky)-The International Territory Manager will maximize sales and increase market share and build a strong international distributor network for animal products internationally. The International Territory Manager will call on customers and prospects in the field to identify customer needs and specifications and inform them of new and existing products/services and explain characteristics and benefits. The International Sales Manager will communicate with the existing customer base on a consistent basis to monitor customer satisfaction, resolve customer problems and concerns and monitor competitive position. The International Sales Manager will achieve or exceed the sales budgets, secure records and place orders with others for fulfillment. The International Territory Manager will develop and recommend pricing strategies which will result in the greatest profitability and market share.

The International Territory Manager will represent the company at industry trade shows and meetings to promote products and services, increase market and competitive knowledge and identify new product for distribution. The International Territory Manager will develop long and short-term profit driven business plans which leverage strengths and marketplace opportunities. The international Territory Manager develops long-lasting business relationships with key customers and industry influences to support the organization’s market position. The International Territory Manager works with marketing on advertising and promotional activities for product lines to increase market share of target products. The International Territory Manager conducts market analysis and surveys on current and new product concept and works with technical support to identify and prioritize product support needs in order to optimize business development opportunities. The International Territory Manager will coordinate efforts on product registrations, work with staff to ensure accurate forecasting of international sales, leverage human resources by developing an entrepreneurial team environment, executes sales and marketing programs, identifies, hires and trains international sales personnel, appraises performance of international sales personnel and puts formal plans of action in place to maximize territory potential. The International Territory Manager will participate in the annual budgeting process and will keep management up-to-date on market conditions and competitive situations. The International Territory Manager will analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements and will participate in the resolution of customer billing or collection problems.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in animal science, agricultural business, international business or related field. 5+ years of sales experience is preferred with 2+ years of management experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the poultry, swine and bovine markets and will be responsible for territory sales management through channel partners in the Australasia and Asia regions but will help with sales efforts at the larger producer level. The incumbent will manage key relationships at multiple levels in the sales chain. The successful candidate will have professional presentation skills, strong computer/technology skills, quick relationship building abilities and be able to travel to the region regularly.
