Human Resources Manager – Northeast
Human Resources Manager. Veterinary corporation with 40+ hospitals and growing is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager with experience managing teams in remote locations. Company currently has approx. 1,000 employees in multiple states.
ROLE
• Manage and oversee Payroll and Benefits Administrator who processes payroll and handles administration of benefits for all approx.. 1,000 employees
• Assist Payroll and Benefits Administrator on questions from clinics and ADP issues
• Manage transition process for new acquisitions including setting up new company, gathering payroll / benefits data
• Be main point of contact with vendors including benefits broker, healthcare insurance provider and non-medical benefits provider
• Manage enrollment of new employees to benefit plan and ongoing benefits matters
• Responsible for benefits offering across all locations including plan selection, implementation, enrollment and management
• Analyze, design and administer new 401(k) program
• Manage PTO program across clinics
• Develop and maintain employee and corporate handbooks and work with legal and practice managers to ensure compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
• Self-starter and leader who is very comfortable doing getting their hands dirty and taking the lead on projects and managing others
• Capable of handling processing work as well as project management and implementing new initiatives
• Highly organized and can be trusted to get the job done without being told multiple times
• Collaborative and comfortable in team environment with experience working across teams in remote locations
• Need to work closely with payroll and clinics to make sure everything is accurate
• Is not afraid to ask questions and ask for help when the subject is out of her experience range
• Skilled with MS Office and ADP WorkForce Now.
