Hospital Manager – Portland, OR

This practice is in the Portland, OR area.  The incumbent will develop the veterinary, technical and administrative staff towards the goal of quality patient care and excellent client service. The Hospital Manager will oversee the hiring, reviewing and coaching of staff, in accordance with the approval of the management team. The incumbent will be responsible for hospital budgets, operating expenses, business growth, forecasting and P&L review and will establish and uphold the organization’s policies and procedures. The incumbent will positively represent the hospital and actively participate in building relationships with the local professional community and general public. This will involve event planning and attendance at night and weekend events as well as some travel. The incumbent will develop and implement marketing strategies including but not limited to social media, constant contact, community events and continuing education programs.

Qualifications include a Bachelors Degree and CVPM preferred, experience with HR,  employee counseling, coaching and mentoring, extensive customer service knowledge, financial budget development, management and analysis, knowledgeable in effective marketing techniques and strategy, public speaking with the ability to influence a diverse range of audiences and groups, proven ability to make decisions, delegate responsibility and achieve results.
