We are seeking a compassionate Emergency and Surgery Associate Veterinarian to join our growing animal hospital. Our fast-paced small animal hospital is in sunny San Diego, and we have a reputation for providing exceptional care to our clients. We have a very loyal client base and see animals from the beginning of their life, all the way to the end.

Our staff works well together, and we all have the same goal for our practice – providing the utmost compassionate care to our furry clients. We are motivated and always eager to keep learning so that we can stay up-to-date with the fast-paced world of veterinary medicine. Your case load will be performing surgeries and emergencies.

You’ll have a great work-life balance here as you will typically work three 12-hour shifts. This isn’t a mandatory schedule, but we like to give our employees the chance to have 4 days off each week.

Our ideal client is a team player, willing to teach and mentor anyone and everyone who needs it, possesses great communication skills, and most importantly, is upbeat and motivated to provide the best care to the animals they treat.

About the Hospital

We are a one-of-a-kind surgical hospital equipped to handle emergency cases. Our location is convenient and being open 24/7 means we treat many pets in San Diego. We have state-of-the-art diagnostic tools to properly diagnose your pet and provide treatment right away. Some of the services offered here are mammectomy, ACL repair, limb amputation, mass removal, fracture repairs, femoral head ostectomy surgery, bladder stones, and more! Our hospital has an online pharmacy so that medication can be delivered right to our patient’s home.
