The Director of Strategic Accounts is a part of the Sales and Marketing Team with the primary role of managing and growing corporate partnerships. The Director will work with distribution partners, corporate accounts and group purchasing organizations to grow the product portfolio and prepare for product launches into the Animal Health marketplace. The Director will work with the sales and marketing team as well as cross-functionally.  The Director will create, communicate and executive business plans that meet company goals while meeting needs of external partners. The Director will maintain communication with key contacts at accounts to maximize opportunities that match the account’s goals to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.  The Director will assist in providing industry and partner feedback that enhances marketing and advertising promotional activities.  The Director will review and analyze account data and collaborate with the leadership team to drive change, strategy and attainment of the organization’s goals. The Director will mentor colleagues and provide solutions to advance the business. The Director will meet with the VP to set activities that drive revenue and execute strategy. While this is currently an individual contributor role, in the future as business needs evolve, additional management responsibilities could be assigned.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have strong Animal Health industry knowledge and relationships.   BA/BS required; MBA preferred but not required, 5+ years of marketing, sales and operations experience required, National Accounts, Distribution or similar experience, experience working with C-Suite and Sales/Marketing leadership, experience managing Animal Health pharmaceutical product launches, must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience developing, implementing and measuring sales/marketing plans, campaigns, ability to influence across an organization, strong attention to detail, dependability in terms of meeting deadlines and handling confidential information, ability to act strategically, ability to negotiate skillfully in tough situations,  ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
