The CEO will act as the figurative head of the organization. The CEO will lead the development of the organization’s short- and long-term strategies. The CEO will manage overall operations and make decisions impacting the organization. The CEO will manage the organization’s resources, will manage the company organizational structure, will communicate with the board of directors, set strategic goals, provide company-wide leadership, assess and minimize risks to the company, serve as the company’s primary spokesperson, develop and uphold the company’s culture and mission/vision, work with stakeholders to implement strategic plans and evaluate and track the success of the company in reaching its goals. The company is ready for rapid expansion and is looking for a strategic leader to help grow and build.

Qualifications include being a veterinarian with a license to practice in the United States, prior P&L responsibility (not just over 1-2 practices), someone with leadership, vision and people management experience and some financial acumen.
