More About the Role:     

The Business Development Director will collaborate with key internal stakeholders to build a pipeline of work that aligns the company’s capabilities to the needs of current and future customers.

What Will You Do: 

• Possess a deep understanding of, and ability to, anticipate client needs and requirements and contribute significantly to client relationship strategies
• Develop relationships with clients and prospective clients, with a particular focus on their Research, Development, Innovation, and Commercial Business Units.
• Lead, prepare, negotiate, and close proposals/contracts to meet the company and client needs.
• Meet or exceed sales target
• Research, analyze, and monitor market, competitive, and target industry factors to capitalize on business development opportunities.

Qualifications: 

• Five to ten years of successful and demonstrable business development experience.
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Proficiency with CRM software desired (SalesForce)
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Results-driven
• Detailed-oriented
• Domestic and international travel is required. Must have a valid passport and the willingness to travel up to 35% of the time.
