Brand Manager – Oncology Veterinary

Brand Manager Oncology

In this role, the successful candidate will build and maintain close relationships with surgical, primary care and oncology veterinarians through direct efforts and through channel partners while initiating and developing strategic collaborations to prepare for product launch. This position will plan and execute educational and conference presence strategies that will bring the company closer to veterinary clinicians and will help them understand the therapeutic value offered by the treatments offered by the company.

Position responsibilities include:

Create and foster relationships with external business partners such as market research agencies, designers and clinical collaborators, development of market segmentation, analytical reporting, competitive intelligence and prepare budgets and forecasts, turning research outcomes and data into meaningful and actionable information. Develop and manage the roadmap for gaining customer, market and competitive understanding. Closely collaborating and aligning with internal research and finance teams and other key U.S. stakeholders to ensure optimal clinical and market data collection and use of the information. The incumbent will provide effective leadership and will eventually build and manage a team, assign work to ensure right allocation and availability of resources, monitor activities, evaluate performance and manage escalated/critical issues, provide insight and recommendations to executive committee and board of directors regarding opportunities, successes and learnings based on the research and data analysis of clinics, markets and competition.

Qualifications include: 5+ years in a similar role with experience launching new animal health products, ability to supervise and manage multiple projects at the same time, outstanding customer relationship building ability and sales management skills, a general understanding of veterinary oncology, Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, DVM or PhD preferred, strong digital and content marketing experience with an ability to utilize a wide range of communication channels, including traditional ones, special preference to those candidates with a scientific background. There is a 30% travel requirement.
