Associate Veterinarian – Washington County, VT – #7144

Our animal clinic is searching for an Associate Veterinarian to join a stellar team in Vermont! We’ve been committed to practicing the highest quality of veterinary medicine since the early 90s in the upper valley of Vermont and New Hampshire.

Our head doctor’s love of surgery and working on complicated medical cases led him to concentrate on his surgical skills and open a small animal surgical facility.

Because of the quality of veterinary care and progressive services, our animal hospital has a great reputation in the area, and we treat animals from all over New England.

We pride ourselves on being honest, experienced, affordable, and dedicated to you and your pet!

About the Hospital

Our hospital is a surgical center, and while we have standard hours throughout the week, we also allow for some flexibility when a surgery might need to happen outside of normal business hours. Our lead doctor often corrects surgeries that went wrong in other veterinary hospitals and has the knowledge and experience to perform advanced surgeries, as well as regular/everyday surgeries. Some of the surgeries that our surgical hospital offers are ligament damage repair, fracture repair, patella repair, correcting limb length deformities, fixing elbow and shoulder issues, soft tissue surgery, and of course, spaying and neutering.

Life in Washington County

A charming region of Vermont that’s nestled alongside rolling green hills and inhabits many lakes in Washington County. Named after America’s first President, George Washington, this county is full of rich history. A one-room schoolhouse is a tourist attraction as it gives perspective to life in early America. When the Central Vermont Railroad arrived in the area in 1875, Vermont finally began to grow, and the granite industry took off! Today’s Vermont preserves much of the area’s impressive history in its architecture and infrastructure but has modern conveniences sprinkled throughout. Along with the remarkable history of the area, Vermont is famous for its rich maple syrup, moose sightings, Fall foliage, and indescribable beauty. With so many freshwater lakes, clean places to swim, kayak, tube, and mountains to hike and ski, this region is a great place to settle in and enjoy life.
