Associate Product Manager

Associate Product Manager.  The Associate Product Manager will handle the oversight of forecasting, pricing, sales reporting, marketing, collaborating with manufacturing regarding inventory and production, and assisting and collaborating with regulatory regarding new products and general updates and executive assistance. The Associate Product Manager will liaison between sales and manufacturing on providing updates on forecasting and evaluating inventory levels to assist in production schedule. The role entails collaboration with sales managers on forecast updates to ensure proper supply for customers. The Associate Product Manager will provide weekly sales reports to sales managers and executives and will provide end of the month sales reports and assist in the development of the executive report each month. The Associate Product Manager will determine product pricing for the product portfolio and will define product strategies and launch new products. The Associate Product Manager will manage the product portfolio and product lifecycle. The Associate Product Manager will design and develop new advertising, promotion and marketing ideas for the company. The Associate Product Manager will provide sales support with up to date product information and marketing materials. The incumbent will assist regulatory with product label, safety data sheets, product data sheets and regulatory document updates. The incumbent will assist in the logistics, ordering and marketing materials for annual conventions for swine, poultry and cattle teams and collect and assess market information and customer needs through customer visits and industry expos/conventions.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in related field (animal science, agriculture, marketing, business, etc.) and previous product manager experience. Experience in the animal health industry or agriculture industry is a plus. There is a 25% to 50% domestic travel requirement with occasional international travel required. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, who is comfortable working independently, who pays attention to details with excellent presentation skills and strong excel and data analysis skills. We are looking for someone with high integrity, who is adaptable and has good communication, collaboration and problem solving skills. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be results oriented.
