Sales Director (Southeast US location) National Role
We are looking for a sales leader with the ability to attract and develop talent, coach and motivate a sales team. The incumbent will develop and define the vision and associated strategy and execution plans to achieve annual growth targets through the development of solutions. The incumbent will direct and lead the programs for the sale of solutions including directing strategic and emerging sales account managers. The incumbent will develop strategies for solutions that will solve customers’ business challenges with a mindset of creating consistent and repeatable solutions. The Sales Director will develop strategic and emerging account strategy and be responsible for meeting assigned sales goals for profitable sales growth. The Sales Director will identify, build and manage relationships with senior executives to understand their business challenges and educate them on the value of the organization’s products. The Sales Director will collaborate with the marketing and sales team members to brainstorm and execute creative marketing strategies and business planning for the promotion of products and services to increase sales. The Sales Director will provide feedback on the marketing efforts and introduce improvement ideas as appropriate.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or equivalent and deep Animal Health experience, 10+ years of proven success in complex sales with c-suite interaction, experience building, developing, coaching, motivating sales teams including an overall sales culture, results drive with proven record of accomplishment of over-achieving goals.
Core skills include proven track record of building a team, executive presence, with demonstrated success, presenting to, influencing and collaborating with clients to achieve deliverables, ability to lead others and develop strategies, excellent organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, success collaborating with teams to achieve stakeholder expectations, client-centric mentality; reliable, professional, exceeds expectations, excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills, agile and responsive, adaptable to change.
