We have multiple opportunities around the United States with one of our clients who is assembling a new team of veterinary technicians to work in a technical/sales supporting role. The primary objective for the Veterinary Technician Specialist in this role is to grow the business and protect the business. The Veterinary Technician Specialist will be responsible for the success of the relationship with assigned clinics in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and the company to improve utilization, increase adoption and minimize implementation time of the products. The veterinary technician will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, qualifying, tracking and evaluating clinic pain points; and for facilitating, developing, designing and implementing clinic workflow processes that improve overall customer experience. There will be weekly travel (3-4) days per week throughout the assigned territory.
In this role you will provide clinics with guidance, instruction and training on the products to increase productivity and performances through formal and informal presentations. You will handle post sales training and complete daily activity documentation, including detailed reports after customer visits, by collecting, analyzing and summarizing all available information including detailed satisfaction information.
Qualifications include current experience working in a veterinary clinic as a veterinary technician, understanding of general veterinary clinic operations including financial limitations, training requirements and workflow processes. Must have the ability to create and deliver training presentations clearly and effectively in both formal and informal environments. This role works closely with sales and sales managers to provide appropriate customer service in a team approach. Other requirements include an Associate’s Degree with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Credentialed Veterinary Technician is preferred. Basic computer skills (ie. Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe), at least one year of experience working in a clinical setting, basic knowledge of animal disease states preferred, knowledge of clinic processes. Must have the ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the work week and be flexible to accommodate customer visit requests. The position requires travel to multiple locations in the US and Canada. Must be required to travel on Sunday to be at a customer location on Monday morning. Bilingual in Spanish or French is a plus.
