What does it mean to be accredited by the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS)?
The NAPS Accredited Firm designation (NAF), is also known as the Robert P. Style Accredited Firm Program. Robert P. Styles was the long-tenured NAPS legal counsel and employment law expert. Are the search consultant’s/recruiters in your firm certified?
Yes! The VET Recruiter’s search and recruitment consultants are required to become certified during their first year of employment with the firm. Our firm currently has three Certified Personnel Consultants (CPC). Obtaining CPC certification means our recruiters are a member of an elite group of search consultants who have passed a challenging exam to show our commitment to the advancement of ethical and professional standards and to the quality of work performed in the Executive Search and Recruitment Profession. In addition each of our team members are required to complete continuing education each year to continue with our certification.
In addition, one of our search consultants has their Certified Employee Retention Specialist (CERS) certification. Stacy Pursell, our founder is a member of an elite group of about 30 search and recruitment professionals who have passed this challenging exam. Finding and retaining employees is the #1 concern of employers in today’s marketplace and this certification helps The VET Recruiter’s clients become better at retaining their employees in order for them to have a competitive advantage in the marketplace which is especially highly competitive today.
How long have you been in business? Our founder, Stacy Pursell began recruiting in the Animal Health, Veterinary and Pet Products industry about twenty years ago and started our firm in 2004. She was the first known recruiter to specialize in the Animal Health, Veterinary and Pet Products Industry full time. She started the Animal Health, Veterinary and Pet Products recruitment niche. Stacy has placed more professionals in the Animal Health and Veterinary Profession than any other known recruiter in this space.
