Associate Veterinarian – Illinois

Associate Veterinarian Illinois.  Our client is looking for a Senior Associate Veterinarian for their high quality hospital in the Peoria, IL area.   Peoria area has over 500,000 people and is midway between Chicago and St. Louis.   The Senior Associate Veterinarian will perform preventative and  diagnostic care, internal medicine and client education and must be proficient in interpreting radiology and basic ultrasound and have surgery skills with soft tissue as well as interest in orthopedics and endoscopy.  Hospital has a stable staff and is open M-F and until noon Saturday.  After hours emergencies, weekends, and holidays cases are referred.   Compensation is production with a guaranteed base plus insurance, CE, SEP retirement plan.

Qualifications include IL license in good standing, 3-4 years of experience, good communications skills, sense of humor, and desire to expand knowledge of ultrasound, orthopedics and endoscopy.
