Chief Human Resources Officer – Great Lakes Area, Michigan – #6147

An exceptional Chief Human Resources Officer is needed to help lead a well-known organization through the next phase of growth. The CHRO will be involved in helping clinics and the team focus on mentorship and coaching and providing support to the teams. The ideal candidate will be leadership-driven and highly team-oriented.

The Chief Human Resources will also provide overall strategic direction and guidance to the Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Payroll, Benefits, and System Administration in accordance with company policies and laws, and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES:

  • Provide leadership, management, and accountability for the HR department.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of business strategy, vision, and challenges utilizing strong and intellectual thinking skills.
  • Build and nurtures relationships within the organization to help strengthen day-to-day operations.
  • Oversees the operation of the Human Resources Department, and supports department initiatives to include culture, employee engagement, and development of employees.
  • Continuous improvement and monitoring of department metrics. Developing, coaching, and holding the HR team accountable for KRA’s and KPI’s.
  • Translates strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans.
  • Evaluates and develop programs to improve Human Resources Operations.
  • Evaluates recruitment, retention, and employee satisfaction and drive programs for improvement.
  • Oversees the company’s payroll department.
  • Oversees the 401K plan as administrator
  • Oversees the company benefit plans as Administrator

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Master’s degree preferably with 5 plus years progressive work experience in a lead HR position with 3 plus years of strategic management experience.
  • Requires knowledge of Human Resources and Learning and Development principles and practices.
  • Requires knowledge of payroll and benefits including administration of the 401K.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of recruiting for a multi-site and multi-state business.
  • Ability to lead, manage and hold a remote workforce accountable.
  • Ability to perform complex analytics, identify trend analyses, and interpret data, driving business recommendations.
  • Strong business acumen with a demonstrated record of progressive thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships and work as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to utilize problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and push up to 25lbs.
