We are seeking an Account Executive to fill a leadership role while merging the client and internal ends of sales. This individual will manage daily clientele contact while delivering solutions and assisting in project development for multiple accounts. The Account Executive reports to the  Executive Vice President of Sales to help integrate the creative and events teams with the client factor of this role. Overall, this role provides remote support to the local client accounts in order to meet business challenges and goals.  

Role Overview:

  • See the Big Picture: Track and assess the budget allocated to the project, support the creative and meetings and events teams and maintain awareness and knowledge of veterinary industry and initiatives in order to educate leadership on project work with the client.
  • Translate Ideas into Action:  Maintain accuracy and clarity of any written document, including creative and production briefs, conference reports, and marketing plans before submission to agency leadership and the client.
  • Collaboration is key!  The AE will participate in client activities, both on an as-required basis and in conjunction with agency-recommended or pro-active opportunities to increase brand knowledge, client culture immersion or business development. Act as the primary client, agency and partner contact for all projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A Strong Communicator: Capable of creating and delivering presentations (written and verbal), both internally to agency leadership, peers, and colleagues across departments, and to clients.
  • Detail Oriented: Oversees completion of all projects and assignments, ensuring strategic and brand integrity, while partnering with all necessary agency disciplines to ensure optimal distribution of resources, timeliness, accuracy, budget, cost management and reporting.
  • Innovator: Conversant in all media types, including the ability to understand and integrate diverse media vehicles to deliver a brand message to the client’s consumer base.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Marketing/Advertising agency experience (animal health industry preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com and Monday.com as well as Microsoft Suite
  • Has strong sales and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of the latest veterinary industry and marketing trends
  • Proficiency with numbers, budget and time management
  • Ability to present ideas, negotiate and problem solve
  • Great written and oral communication skills
  • Team Player and the wearer of many hats!
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated pattern of initiative and independent thought.
  • Proactive in dealing with challenges head on and in compliance with company policy.
  • Excellent people and management skills, team-oriented with a strong attitude to succeed.
  • Understands all the steps necessary to complete each stage of a job through all departments in order to deliver all aspects of projects on time and successfully.
  • Detail-oriented and well organized, able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Position requires approximately 40% travel
