Our client is looking for an executive with 5+ years experience in human generic/spec pharma Business Development roles including manufacturing and development and in-licensing deals as well as corporate alliances that drive company success.

Will use experience in deal structuring, overcoming obstacles to reach agreement, selling the deal, long term partnership building, negotiating with overseas pharmaceutical companies and ability to understand FDA regulatory requirements to find and close deals that drive future sales.

VP BD will be astute at financial modeling, relentless in pursuit of product opportunities, able to function independently to reach rapid agreement and alignment with partners, while also working closely with a team to filter opportunities, negotiate technical details and evaluate regulatory. As a key member of the management team, VP BD will travel often, including internationally, to find, negotiate and close product development, licensing and partnership opportunities with both human and veterinary pharmaceutical companies worldwide.
