The Manager of Customer Marketing will be responsible for oversight of assigned brand annual trade promotion programs ensuring alignment with annual strategies, budgets and the organizations long term strategic goals. The incumbent will have accountability for the authorization and commitment of trade spending so as to meet account performance objectives and maximize company sales volume and profitability. The incumbent will develop and implement improved business systems, tools and techniques for managing trade spending, deductions and evaluating effectiveness and efficiency of trade spending. Other responsibilities include oversight of the appropriate execution of assigned trade events by partnering with Field Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and customers.
Qualifications include a 4 year degree with experience in the Animal Health Industry as well as Marketing and Sales experience. The incumbent will have a thorough understanding and experience in marketing, sales and finance necessary to drive profitability and achieve business goals. Will have a comprehensive Animal Health products experience in establishing and implementing trade promotion strategies, tactics and systems. Knowledge, experience and understanding of finance and accounting to work with customer based Profit and Loss statements in addition to possessing the ability to evaluate the financial attractiveness of various ad hoc trade promotion programs.
