Company is looking for an Area Sales Manager for its Eastern US territory which includes the area from Virginia to Southeast USA including the Mid-Atlantic Coast.
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will manage 6-8 Regional Account Managers on a daily basis including the role of administrator, supervisor, trainer, manager, coach, and leader for the Regional Account Managers. 
The ASM is ultimately responsible for customer retention, customer satisfaction, instrument upgrades, organic growth through customer education of applications and clinical utility for our consumables, and an ever increasing customer base, working alongside the Regional Managers. The ASM will have direct role in visiting existing customers and generating new business customers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of BA/BS in business related field
- Minimum 5 yrs sales experience, preferably animal health, medical or scientific fields
- Solid organizational, presentation, and problem solving skills and proven track record of sales results
- Ability to travel overnight 2-3 nights per week.
